How it works — for parents+
At Lucerna Academy, we teach Vibe Coding—a new way of creating where imagination and judgment replace the need for traditional programming. Instead of memorizing technical syntax that is quickly becoming obsolete, students learn to act as Creative Directors. They master the art of “directing” AI agents to build complex software through clear intent and constant iteration. While school still optimizes for a pre-AI era, we focus on the essentials that actually matter: how to think, direct, and create alongside AI.
Guided by Pipp, their own AI companion, students move through four distinct phases to ship real games, tools, and websites with their name on it—creating a portfolio of work that kids are proud to show off and parents are proud to share. Through this structured Great Work, your child builds a foundation in AI Literacy and Ethical Thinking, learning to navigate the moral complexities of the AI era as they build.
